We are a group of engineering students from Shanmugha College of Engineering, Tamilnadu, India. (www.shanmugha.org) We teamed up to put our creativity together and create ideas, software and solutions that could help the world. We call ourselves the Kollektive (more like its from borg of Star Trek), to emphasise on the power of team work and how people can join together to create kollektive intelligence. Ants are the best known kollektive intelligence in the world. We share our ideas and try to get the best out of teamwork. We also believe in the benevolent dictatorship model of Linus torvalds on which most Linux groups are based. You can visit the Teams page to learn more about our members. We do intend to grow in the future with our model of teamwork and creativity. We are interested in promoting teamwork wherever people want to get together to create something new. We believe strongly that change can be brought under all conditions and restrictions to create a better solution to any problem. We are currently into creating a new customized Linux distribution for the Indian desktop users. You can find more information about everyone involved in this effort here. Kollektive Linux's Mission is now available as a document. If you've been reading the Objectives, then you could proceed and take a look at the Mission.
